HKMAO Director arrives in HK for official visit (with photos/videos)

     The Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, Mr Wang Guangya, today (June 12) arrived in Hong Kong for a three-day official visit.

     On arrival in the Hong Kong port area of Shenzhen Bay Port, Mr Wang was greeted by the Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, and the Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr Li Gang.

     In the evening, Mr Wang, accompanied by the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mr Peng Qinghua, met the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, at Government House.

     Also present at the meeting were the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang; the Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang; the Secretary for Justice, Mr Wong Yan Lung, SC; and the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Raymond Tam.

     After the meeting, Mr Wang attended a welcoming banquet at Government House. Attending the banquet included Principal Officials and Under Secretaries.
