Police arrested a 26-year-old man for indecent assault in the Eastern District on June 8 and appealed to other victims of unreported incidents to contact the Police.
On June 8 morning, police arrested the man who was suspected in connection with two indecent assault cases happened in the Central area in January 2011.
The man, charged for two counts of indecent assault, appeared at the Eastern Magistrates’ Courts this afternoon (June 10). The case has been adjourned to July 8 for further proceedings.
Upon further investigation, Police believed that the man was in connection with other indecent assault cases in the Central area in December 2010 and January 2011. Police urged the victims or anyone who saw the incident or has any information to offer, to contact the investigating officers at 2859 9213 or 2859 9248.
