The following is issued on behalf of Secretariat of the Kowloon City District Urban Renewal Forum:
The first District Urban Renewal Forum (DURF) at Kowloon City will hold its first meeting on June 13. The meeting will be open to the public.
The details of the meeting are as follows:
Date: June 13, 2011 (Monday)
Time: 2.30pm
Venue: The Hall, 4/F, Holy Carpenter Church Community Centre, 1 Dyer Avenue, Hung Hom, Kowloon
The meeting will be conducted in Cantonese. Simultaneous interpretation in English will be available. Members of the public who are interested in attending the meeting should contact the Secretariat at 2231 4650 or via email (enquiry@durf.org.hk) for seat reservation and visit the DURF's website at www.durf.org.hk for relevant information for the meeting.
The Kowloon City DURF was established on June 1, 2011, composing of 20 non-official and official members. Dr Greg Wong was appointed as the forum's Chairman. Other non-official members include four incumbent members of the Kowloon City District Council, two Area Committee members who are centres-in-charge of local non-governmental organisations and professionals from relevant fields.
