Police today (June 5) holding charged a 23-year-old man and a 29-year-old man jointly with one count of burglary.
About 11.20pm on June 3, Police received report that some suspicious persons were found at a construction site on Tong Tak Street. Officers of the Task Force of Tseung Kwan O Division found four suspects and subsequently arrested two Mainland men at scene for stealing electric wires in a meter room after a sergeant fired one shot as they resisted fiercely.
Initial investigation suggested that the shot did not hit anyone and Police are still wanting two men in their 20s who fled.
Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Kwun Tong are proceeding.
The duo will appear at the Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow morning (June 6).
