The Electoral Affairs Commission will hold a public forum on June 9 (Thursday) on the Proposed Guidelines on Election-related Activities in respect of the District Council Election.
"Members of the public are invited to express their views at the public forum," a Commission spokesman said today (June 3).
In order to accommodate more participants, the venue for the forum has been changed to the Community Hall, 3/F, Causeway Bay Community Centre, 7 Fook Yum Road, Causeway Bay and it will commence at 3pm.
The proposed guidelines were released on May 24 for public consultation until June 22.
Written representations can be sent to the Commission's Secretariat by post at 10/F, Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai; by fax (2511 1682); or by email (eacenq@reo.gov.hk) by June 22. Late submissions will not be considered.
The proposed guidelines can be downloaded from the Commission's website at www.eac.gov.hk. They are also available at the Registration and Electoral Office and the Public Enquiry Service Centres of District Offices.
