Police today (June 2) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Kwun Tong on May 31 in which a 64-year-old man was killed.
At about 7.50pm on that day, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 67-year-old man was travelling along Pik Wan Road towards Lin Tak Road. When reaching near Tak Tin Estate, the PLB reportedly knocked down the 64-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.54am yesterday (June 1).
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East, are proceeding.
