Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong this afternoon (June 1) in which a 43-year-old man was killed.
At about 2pm, a 43-year-old cyclist was travelling along O King Road southbound. When making a right turn to Pik Wan Road, it was believed that the bicycle had bumped into the left side kerb and the cyclist eventually hit a road sign.
The cyclist sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the United Christian Hospital, where he was certified dead at 14.20pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
