Police yesterday (May 26) reclassified a wounding case in Sau Mau Ping on May 21 as murder.
About 2pm on May 21, Police received a report that a 42-year-old man and a 58-year-old man fisted each other after a dispute arose at a construction site on 2 Kung Lok Road. The 58-year-old man later found collapsed. He was sent to United Christian Hospital and later transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
Police subsequently arrested the 42-year-old man for wounding.
The injured male was certified dead in the evening yesterday. The case was reclassified from wounding to murder and investigated by District Crime Squad of Sau Mau Ping.
The arrested man was charged with one count of murder and will appear at Kowloon City Magistrate Court tomorrow (May 28).
