The Town Planning Board today (May 27) announced amendments to the draft Yuen Long Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involved rezoning of two existing rest gardens and adjacent roads at Castle Peak Road - Yuen Long and Ping Wui Street from "Government, Institution or Community" or "Residential (Group A)" to "Open Space" or areas shown as "Road" to reflect the existing planning intention and as-built situation.
The draft Yuen Long OZP No. S/YL/20, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long District Planning Office, the Yuen Long District Office, the Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee and the Ping Shan Rural Committee.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before July 27, 2011. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the plan can be viewed at the Board's website at www.info.gov.hk/tpb.
