Members of the public are welcome to visit a two-day exhibition on the Employment Ordinance, the Minimum Wage Ordinance and family-friendly employment practices, organised by the Labour Department and to be held in Ap Lei Chau starting tomorrow (May 14).
The exhibition will feature the main provisions of the Employment Ordinance and the Minimum Wage Ordinance, family-friendly employment practices, rights and benefits of foreign domestic helpers, and differences between an employee and a self-employed person, and more. Related publications and souvenirs will be distributed, and a short video on family-friendly employment practices will be shown.
The exhibition will be held at Sales Venue, 1/F, Phase 1, Lei Tung Commercial Centre, Ap Lei Chau, Hong Kong, from 11am to 6pm, May 14 and 15. Admission is free.
