FS to attend SmartHK opening ceremony in Guangzhou

The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, will depart for Guangzhou today (May 11) for the opening ceremony of SmartHK, which will be held tomorrow (May 12).
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, SmartHK is the first exposition dedicated to the upgrading of innovation and industry on the Mainland. SmartHK provides a trade platform whereby Hong Kong service providers can promote their professional expertise to potential Mainland clients.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong tomorrow. In his absence, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan, will act as Financial Secretary.
