Seminar for SMEs on "How to coach and manage the new generation effectively"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "How to coach and manage the new generation effectively" on May 24 (Tuesday).  The seminar will explore with SMEs how to motivate the work morale of the new generation, thereby enhancing management effectiveness.

     At the seminar, Training Manager of St. James' Settlement Corporate Training Centre, Miss Rowena Szeto, will give her insights regarding effective communication with the new generation, the new generation's perception of work value and expectations concerning career development.  Miss Szeto will also explore with participants methods for effective coaching and managing of the new generation, and motivating them to contribute to the development of the enterprise.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, ground floor, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.

     Interested persons are welcome to register with SUCCESS by May 20 (Friday). Please visit the SUCCESS website (www.success.tid.gov.hk) for details of the seminar and online registration. Registration forms can also be downloaded from the SUCCESS website. Please send completed registration forms to SUCCESS by fax (2375 7105). Due to limited seating capacity of the venue, seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
