Man charged with possession of arms without a licence

Police today (April 18) charged a 63-year-old man with one count of possession of arms without a licence.
Police seized a number of firearms and ammunitions inside a flat in Fu Wen House of Fu Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po on April 15 after the man sustained a gun shot wound on his left thigh inside the flat. The man is still admitted at Princess Margaret Hospital for medical treatment.
Active investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are underway.
The case will be heard at Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (April 19).
