Police are investigating a traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok tonight (April 3) in which an 84-year-old man was killed.
At about 8.15pm, a private car driven by a 44-year-old man was travelling along an unknown road inside an estate on no.80 of Wang Kwong Road. When approaching near block 6, the private car reportedly hit the 84-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the United Christian Hospital for medical treatment, where he was certified dead at 8.40pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
