Fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok this morning (March 24) in which a 45-year-old man was killed.

     At 5.35am, a taxi driven by a 53-year-old man was travelling along Argyle Street towards Tai Kok Tsui. When approaching the junction with Nathan Road, it reportedly knocked down the 45-year-old man who was crossing the road.

     The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.15am.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
