The Government published a Gazette notice today (March 18) on further amendments to drainage improvement works in Tai Po. The proposed amendments involve river improvement works in Upper Lam Tsuen River, She Shan River and Upper Tai Po River in Tai Po. In response to requests from the public, the Administration proposes to further amend road works ancillary to the river improvement works to ameliorate the effect of the proposed works.
The proposed further amendments include the revision of the originally proposed limit of works area; the construction of additional footbridges; and the conversion of an originally proposed footbridge into a vehicular bridge with an associated footpath.
The amendment plan and scheme are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:
