Man charged with attempted murder

     Police today (March 10) charged a 44-year-old man with one count of attempted murder.

     The man was arrested on Monday evening (March 7) in connection with a case in which a 14-year-old girl was attacked in a park near Tai Hing Estate, Tuen Mun. The girl sustained multiple chop wounds on her chest and was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in an unconscious state.

     The man will appear in Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts this afternoon.
