The agenda of the Legislative Council (LegCo) meeting, scheduled for today (March 2) at 11am in the Chamber of the LegCo Building, has been revised. In addition to the original agenda items, Hon Jeffrey Lam Kin-fung will move, under Rule 16(2) of the Rules of Procedure, a motion on Adjournment between adjournment of Second Reading debate on the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (Amendment) Bill 2011 and the resumption of Second Reading debate on the Chief Executive Election (Amendment) Bill 2010. The motion states: "That this Council do now adjourn for the purpose of debating the following issue: acts of violence against the Chief Executive and public officers."
