The Town Planning Board today (February 25) announced amendments to the draft Kennedy Town and Mount Davis Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involved imposing building height restrictions for various development zones to provide better planning control on future development/redevelopment and meet public aspirations for a better living environment. Other amendments included rezoning of a number of sites to reflect the planning intention or existing developments, and designation of building gaps to facilitate air ventilation.
The draft Kennedy Town and Mount Davis OZP No. S/H1/18, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Hong Kong District Planning Office and the Central and Western District Office.
Any person may make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before April 26. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
