Police appeal for information on man's death in Kowloon City

     Police today (February 22) appealed for information about a 58-year-old man collapsed and died in Kowloon City last Thursday (February 17).

     About 3.45pm that day, the 58-year-old male taxi driver was found collapsed in his taxi at Boundary Street towards Kowloon City. A male and a female passenger reported the case to police officers nearby and left. The man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was later certified dead at 4.25pm on the same day.

     Initial enquiries found no suspicious circumstance about the case. Investigations by Miscellaneous Investigation Sub Unit of Kowloon City are proceeding.

     Anyone who has any information, in particular the two passengers, is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2760 5500 or any police stations.
