Police today (February 14) appealed for information about a fatal traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O this evening in which a man aged around 50 was killed.
About 6.30pm, the man was found lying on the second lane of Po Lam Road North towards Kowloon near Ma Yau Tong. He was certified dead at the scene. It is believed that he was hit by a private car.
The man was aged around 50, about 1.6 metres tall and of thin build. He had short black straight hair and was wearing a white T-shirt, a dark-coloured jacket, a white raincoat, grey trousers and brown slippers. No identity document was found in his possession.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East, are under way.
Anyone who saw the accident or who has any information about the identity of the deceased is urged to contact the investigating officers on 2305 7500.
