Police reclassified a dead body found case in which a 72-year-old man was found dead in Kwai Chung yesterday (February 13) as murder and arrested his 40-year-old wife.
About 10.35am yesterday, Police received a report that a man was found collapsed inside a unit at Shek Lei Estate. The man was certified dead at the scene.
Post-mortem examinations conducted today (February 14) showed that the man died of head injuries.
After investigation, Police arrested the 40-year-old wife of the deceased for murder. The woman will be detained overnight for further enquiries.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Kwai Tsing are underway.
