CS extends Lunar New Year greetings to elderly (with photos/video)

     The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, visited special housing for senior citizens at Ko Yee Estate in Yau Tong today (February 1), joining over 60 elderly residents in an activity organised by the estate to celebrate the approach of Lunar New Year.

     Accompanied by staff of the Housing Department and Social Welfare Department, Mr Tang attended a gathering for the elderly in the estate to extend his greetings to the elderly.  He wished them happy and healthy in the Year of Rabbit.

     During the visit, Mr Tang listened to their views on elderly services and explored areas for service improvement.  He wrapped up the gathering with lucky draw and prize presentation, making it an occasion full of festive joy.

     Later, Mr Tang paid visits to two elderly families in the estate, including an elderly singleton and an elderly couple, to learn more about their needs and daily lives. In addition to giving out festive gifts, Mr Tang offered his seasonal greetings to the elderly.
