Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsing Yi this morning (January 31) in which a 51-year-old woman died.
About 6.45 am, Police received reports that a 51-year-old woman was found lying unconscious on the hard shoulder of the Airport bound of Tsing Ma Bridge near North West Tsing Yi Interchange. After initial investigation, the woman was believed to have fallen out from a nanny bus that was driven by a 67-year-old man.
The woman sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the Princess Margaret Hospital, where she was certified dead at 7.28 am.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic New Territories South are underway.
