The Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose S K Lee, this afternoon (January 28) visited a group of elderly persons at the Christian Family Service Centre Kwun Tong Day Care Centre for the Elderly in Kwun Tong ahead of the lunar new year.
Mr Lee handed out presents, wishing the elderly peace and good health in the coming year.
He made a tour around the centre's facilities to better understand daily life for the elderly at the centre. He also listened to their views on government services and the law and order situation in the district.
The Christian Family Service Centre Kwun Tong Day Care Centre for the Elderly provides daytime support and nursing care services to frail elders suffering from moderate or severe levels of impairment. The centre is also a place for the elderly to enjoy social gatherings.
