Proposed amendments to traffic improvements to Tuen Mun Road Town Centre Section gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (January 28) on the proposed amendments to the traffic improvements to Tuen Mun Road Town Centre Section.

     The proposed amendments are as follows:

(a) Revision of the limit of works area;
(b) Deletion of a part of the originally proposed carriageway along Tuen Mun Road Kowloon bound between Pui To Road and Tuen Mun Town Plaza;
(c) Deletion of a part of the originally proposed full enclosure; and
(d) Permanent closure and conversion of a part of the existing footpath into carriageway along Tuen Mun Road Kowloon bound between Pui To Road and Tuen Mun Town Plaza.

     The plan and scheme of works are available for public inspection during office hours at the following Government offices:

(a) Central and Western District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong
(b) Tuen Mun District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, 2nd Floor, Tuen Mun Government Offices, 1 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories
(c) District Lands Office, Tuen Mun, 6th Floor, Tuen Mun Government Offices, 1 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories

     Any person who wishes to object to the amendments, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16th Floor, Murray Building, Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, on or before March 29.
