Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 34-year-old man was killed in Tai Po early this morning (January 27).
At 3.36am, a private car driven by a 34-year-old man was travelling along Tolo Highway towards Kowloon. On reaching near Kwong Fuk Estate, it reportedly rammed into the rear part of a maintenance truck which stopped on the second lane.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the 34-year-old driver was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.03am.
Investigations will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
