Police are anxious to locate the next of kin of a baby boy who was abandoned in Wan Chai last Friday (January 21).
About 3pm today (January 25), a 25-year-old woman made a report to the Police that a woman asked her to take care of a baby boy at a restaurant on Russell Street last Friday but failed to return since then.
The baby boy is about a few months old, standing about 0.45 meter tall, 9kg in weight and with brown complexion. He was wrapped by a beige colour blanket with white clothes and car pattern pants. The baby boy carried no identity document.
Police urged the relatives of the baby boy or anyone who has information to offer to contact the investigating officers on 3660 7562 or Wan Chai Police Station on 3660 7400.
