SHA congratulates So Wa-wai for winning world championship event

The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, today (January 25) extended his congratulations to Hong Kong athlete So Wa-wai for setting a new Championship record in winning gold in the Men's 100m T36 with a time of 12.17 seconds, and defending the title for the third time at the 2011 International Paralympic Committee Athletics World Championships being held in New Zealand.
Mr Tsang praised So Wa-wai for his unswerving efforts and unflinching determination and hoped So and other Hong Kong athletes participating in the event would continue to keep up their efforts and strive for excellence in the remaining competitions.
