The Town Planning Board today (January 21) announced amendments to the approved South West Kowloon Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments involved rezoning of a strip of land along Hoi Fai Road on the waterfront and a site bounded by Hoi Ting Road, Hoi Wang Road and Lai Cheung Road from "Government, Institution or Community" to "Open Space" to facilitate the development of waterfront promenade and public open space respectively.
The draft South West Kowloon OZP No. S/K20/25, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office and the Yau Tsim Mong and Sham Shui Po District Offices.
Any person may make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before March 21. Representations made to the board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the board's website: www.info.gov.hk/tpb.
