The Town Planning Board today (December 24) announced amendments to the approved Tsuen Wan Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involve rezoning of Tsuen Wan East Industrial Area to the north of Yeung Uk Road from "Industrial" to "Comprehensive Development Area (2)", "Comprehensive Development Area (3)", "Comprehensive Development Area (4)", "Comprehensive Development Area (5)", "Comprehensive Development Area (6)", "Commercial (5)", "Open Space" and areas shown as 'Road' to facilitate comprehensive development/redevelopment of the area primarily for residential use with the provision of commercial facilities, open space and other supporting facilities.
The draft Tsuen Wan OZP No. S/TW/27, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office, the Tsuen Wan District Office and the Tsuen Wan Rural Committee.
Any person may make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before February 24, 2011. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb) .
