Motorcyclist died in Cheung Sha Wan traffic accident

     Police are investigating a traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan this morning (December 14) in which a 53-year-old man was killed.

     About 09.50 am, a goods vehicle driven by a 55-year-old man was travelling along Tai Po Road towards Mong Kok. When approaching to the junction of Castle Peak Road, it reportedly rammed into a motorcycle that was driven by a 53-year-old man and stopped in front of a traffic light.

     The 53-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 10.10 am. Police have arrested the goods vehicle driver for dangerous driving causing death.

     Officers of Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are investigating the accident.
