Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin this afternoon (December 7) in which a 25-year-old man died and a 23-year-old woman was injured.
About 2.10pm, a private car driven by 25-year-old man was travelling along eastbound Lung Cheung Road. When reaching outside Tin Ma Court, it reportedly cut lane and subsequently lost control and rammed into the iron railings. The fragments of the private car hit another private car and a light goods vehicle, which were travelling on the same direction.
The 25-year-old private car driver and the 23-year-old woman passenger of another private car sustained injuries and were conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The private car driver was certified dead at 2.43pm.
Active investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are under way.
