The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, presented honours and awards to 284 recipients at the annual ceremony at Government House today (November 20).
Among the recipients, seven received the Grand Bauhinia Medal, 12 the Gold Bauhinia Star, two the Medal for Bravery (Gold) (posthumous) (received by family members of the recipients), 22 the Silver Bauhinia Star, nine the Distinguished Service Medal for Disciplined Services and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and 39 the Bronze Bauhinia Star.
Meanwhile, 40 people were awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for Disciplined Services and the ICAC, 59 the Medal of Honour, 46 the Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service and 48 the Chief Executive's Commendation for Government/Public Service.
