The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, sees the swimming pool of the Ota City Yaguchi civic centre located near the Tamagawa Incineration Plant. The water in the swimming pool is warmed by the heat generated through waste incineration. The heat generated is also recovered as energy to generate electricity which powers all the equipment within the plant, while the surplus electricity is sold to the electric power company.   Close
