Members of the public are welcome to visit a two-day exhibition on the Employment Ordinance and family-friendly employment practices, organised by the Labour Department in Siu Sai Wan, starting tomorrow (November 6).
The exhibition will feature the main provisions of the Employment Ordinance, family-friendly employment practices, rights and benefits of foreign domestic helpers, differences between an employee and a self-employed person, as well as the use of written employment contracts. Related publications and souvenirs will be distributed, and a video on family-friendly employment practices will also be shown.
The exhibition will be held at Aqua Theatre, Ground Floor, Island Resort Mall, Siu Sai Wan, Hong Kong from 11am to 6pm, November 6 and 7. Admission is free.
