Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Aberdeen this afternoon (November 4) in which a 47-year-old man died.
About 3.15pm, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 47-year-old man was travelling along Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road towards Aberdeen. When approaching Lee Chi Road, the LGV reportedly lost control and rammed into the roadside railings.
The driver was rendered unconscious and conveyed to Queen Mary Hospital, where he was certified dead at 3.43 pm.
An investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is under way.
