FS to attend APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting in Kyoto

The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, will leave for Japan tomorrow (November 5) to attend the 17th Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) Finance Ministers' Meeting in Kyoto.
On arrival in Kyoto on November 5, Mr Tsang will attend a welcome reception and a dinner. On November 6, he will attend the plenary meetings and a ministerial retreat, which will discuss, among other things, a strategy for sustained economic growth for the APEC region.
Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on Sunday (November 7). In his absence, the Secretary for Development, Mrs Carrie Lam, will act as Financial Secretary.
