Woman body found case in Aberdeen classified as homicide

Police yesterday (October 31) classified a woman body found case in Aberdeen on October 27 as homicide after conducting further investigations.
About 7.45am on October 27, Police received a report that a woman body was found floating at sea off Lee Nam Road. She was certified dead at scene and was later confirmed to be a 25-year-old woman.
Initial post mortem examination revealed that the woman was drowned. After further investigations, it was found that suspicious circumstances were detected surrounding her death.
Active investigations by Region Crime Unit of Marine are underway.
