The Highways Department today (October 22) invited tenders for a six-year maintenance term contract on the "Management and Maintenance of Roads on Hong Kong Island Excluding High Speed Roads 2011-2017" (Contract No. 04/HY/2010).
The works mainly comprise the management and maintenance of public roads (excluding high speed roads) on Hong Kong Island, including associated slopes, highway structures, landscaping and minor improvement works. The term contract will run from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2017. The Urban Region of the Highways Department will supervise the contract.
Interested contractors can obtain the tender forms and other particulars from the office of Chief Highway Engineer/Hong Kong, Urban Region, Highways Department, on the seventh floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong.
Tender submissions should be placed in the Government secretariat tender box located at the lift lobby on the lower ground floor of Central Government Offices (East Wing), 20 Lower Albert Road, Hong Kong, by noon on December 3, 2010.
