AFCD responds to media enquiries

In response to media enquiries regarding the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) seal found on the packages of some of the ivory confiscated by Macau Customs yesterday (October 17), a spokesman for the AFCD gave the following reply today (October 18):
AFCD staff completed a check on the ivory stocks kept under the department's custody this morning and confirmed that no ivory was missing. The AFCD will continue to follow up on the case with Macau authorities.
