Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan this morning (October 16) in which a 58-year-old man was killed.
About 10.30am, a motorcycle driven by the 58-year-old man was travelling along the second lane of southbound West Kowloon Highway. When reaching outside MTR Nam Cheong station, the motorcycle reportedly cut lane and collided with a private car travelling along the third lane. The motorcycle then collided with a taxi travelling along the second lane.
The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.03am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
