An inter-departmental exercise simulating a hillfire and mountain rescue operation was held at Shek Lung Kung in Tsuen Wan this morning (October 14).
The departments were the Fire Services Department, Hong Kong Police Force, Government Flying Service, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, Auxiliary Medical Service, Civil Aid Service, Home Affairs Department, Social Welfare Department and the Hospital Authority.
The exercise aimed to enhance co-ordination, communication, and command and control capabilities among the departments in massive hillfire and mountain rescue operations.
