Police are investigating a suspected homicide case in Kwai Chung last night (October 11) in which a 88-year-old woman died.
About 10.10pm, a 45-year-old woman made a report to the Police that her relative collapsed inside a flat at Fu Nga House in Tai Wo Hau Estate. Police sped to the scene and located the 88-year-old woman lying unconscious on a bed inside the bedroom. She was subsequently certified dead at the scene. Bruises on her face and bloodstain from her mouth were found.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted today (October 12) to ascertain the cause of the woman's death.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Kwai Tsing District are underway.
