Temporary suspension of Mobile Library 2, 5 and 9 services

     Services provided by Mobile Library 2, 5 and 9 would be suspended from mid-October to early November for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (October 11).

     Service points of Mobile Library 2 to be affected from October 18 to 23 are Sun Chui Estate, Mei Lam Estate and Saddle Ridge Garden in Sha Tin; Hau Tak Estate and Po Lam Estate in Tseung Kwan O; Ka Fuk Estate in Fanling and Ching Ho Estate in Sheung Shui. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 2, please call 2605 1071.

     Service points of Mobile Library 5 to be affected from October 25 to November 6 are Chevalier Garden, Pok Hong Estate, Kam Ying Estate, Hin Keng Estate and Kam Tai Estate in Sha Tin; Ming Tak Estate, Tsui Lam Estate and Kin Ming Estate in Tseung Kwan O; Tai Wo Estate, On Ho Lane, Fu Shin Estate and Fu Heng Estate in Tai Po; Bayview Garden in Tsuen Wan and Tai Wo Hau Estate in Kwai Chung. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 5, please call 2696 5842.

     Service points of Mobile Library 9 to be affected from October 25 to November 6 are Kai Yip Estate in Kowloon Bay, Tsui Ping (South) Estate in Kwun Tong, Tin Wan Estate in Aberdeen, Siu Sai Wan Estate, Tai Hong Street in Lei King Wan and Shing Man Lane in Heng Fa Chuen. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 9, please call 2505 4690.

     People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
