Lot in Fanling sold for $459 million

    The Lands Department this afternoon (September 29) held the seventh land auction of the 2010-2011 financial year for two government lots in Fanling and Chai Wan respectively.

     The first lot, Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 202 at the junction of Fan Leng Lau Road, Wo Muk Road and Luen Hing Street, Fanling, was sold to Supreme Rich Investment Limited at $459 million. The opening bid was $330 million. Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 202 has a site area of about 2,560 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding office, godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. A minimum gross floor area of 9,551 square metres must be completed.

     The opening bid for the second lot, Chai Wan Inland Lot No. 175 at Lin Shing Road, Chai Wan was $530 million. The lot was withdrawn from the auction since there was no bid received.

     The auction was conducted at Tsuen Wan Town Hall by the Deputy Director of Lands, Mr Graham Ross, who was assisted by the Assistant Director, Mr Jeff Lam.
