The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will leave for Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, on Saturday (September 25) to attend the Expo Central China 2010.
Mr Tsang will attend a welcome banquet hosted by the Expo on the day of his arrival in Nanchang. The following day (September 26), he will attend the opening ceremony of the Expo and deliver a speech at the Expo Central China 2010 Summit.
During his stay in Nanchang, the Chief Executive will hold bilateral meetings with provincial leaders attending the Expo.
Accompanying Mr Tsang on the visit will be the Director, Beijing Office, Mr Thomas Tso, and the Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong, Mr Rex Chang.
The Chief Executive will return to Hong Kong on September 26 afternoon. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Henry Tang, will be the acting Chief Executive.
