Police today (September 17) appealed to the public for information on a body found in Castle Peak earlier this week.
About 3pm on Monday (September 13), Police received a report that a male body was found on the beach next to the Lung Kwu Tan Chinese White Dolphin Lookout.
The body, of medium build and about 1.74 metres tall, is believed to be that of a man aged over 40. He was found wearing a pair of swimming pants in blue with orange stripes.
Initial investigations revealed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Anyone who has information on the next of kin of the deceased is urged to contact officers of the Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-unit of the Castle Peak Division at 3661 5935 or 3661 5936.
