Country and Marine Parks Board to meet next Tuesday

The following is issued on behalf of the Country and Marine Parks Board:

     The Country and Marine Parks Board will meet next Tuesday (September 21) and members of public are welcome to observe the open session of the meeting:

     The board will discuss a number of items including:

*  Progress report on the phase III redevelopment of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Jockey Club Sai Kung Outdoor Training Camp;
*  Proposed Double Haven Special Area, High Island Special Area, Sharp Island Special Area, Ung Kong Group Special Area and Ninepin Group Special Area; and
*  Assessment of potential sites suggested for designation as part of the Clear Water Bay Country Park in connection with the encroachment on country park land by South East New Territories Landfill Extension

     People interested in observing the meeting should contact the board secretary at 2150 6697 for seat reservation. They should arrive at Room 701, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department Headquarters, 7/F Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon, at 3.15pm on September 21.

     Seating capacity is limited and seats will be allocated through advance booking on a first-come-first-served basis.
