The Chief Executive's Office launched its official Facebook page entitled "Upper Albert Road" (www.facebook.com/UpperAlbertRoad) today (September 16).
"I hope that through Facebook, my colleagues and I will be able to communicate directly and quickly with members of the public on government policies and views on various events happening around us, thus giving them a better understanding of our work and lives," the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang said.
Mr Tsang posted on the new page his home visit to a couple in Yau Tsim Mong District last night. He dined with the middle-class couple and listened to their expectations of the government and views on the much-debated housing issue.
Mr Tsang encouraged members of the public to make use of this e-channel to express their views on the government and share their own unique "Hong Kong stories".
